Clarity Tattoo Removal – Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 16, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of treatments, treatment packages, consultations, and related services provided by Clarity Tattoo Removal, LLC (“Clarity,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing, booking, or receiving services, you agree to these Terms, subject to applicable law.

Please review these Terms carefully before purchasing a treatment package. Additional information regarding website usage is available in our Website Terms of Use.

1. Payments & Treatment Packages

All services must be paid in full before treatment begins unless an alternative payment arrangement has been expressly approved by Clarity.

Clarity accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Financing options may also be available through Cherry Payments and Affirm Buy Now, Pay Later.

Transactions financed through Cherry or Affirm are subject to the applicable financing provider’s terms, conditions, payment obligations, and refund procedures. Clarity is not responsible for financing charges or obligations imposed independently by those providers, except as required by applicable law.

Clarity offers individual treatments, prepaid multi-treatment packages, and Unlimited Treatment Packages. Package pricing, eligibility, and included services are established at the time of purchase.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, treatment packages are non-transferable and may only be used by the individual for whom they were purchased.

All purchases are final and non-refundable except as expressly provided in Section 2 or as otherwise required by applicable law.

Unlimited Treatment Packages

An Unlimited Treatment Package provides eligible treatments for the specific tattoo or treatment area identified at the time of purchase, subject to treatment suitability, professional recommendations, and these Terms.

Unlimited packages do not guarantee complete tattoo removal or a specific treatment outcome.

For refund valuation purposes, the purchase price of an Unlimited Treatment Package is allocated across six (6) treatments. This allocation does not limit an eligible client’s ability to receive additional treatments under the package while Clarity continues providing the applicable services.

The monetary valuation of an Unlimited Treatment Package is further explained in Section 2.

2. Refunds & Package Valuation

All sales are final and non-refundable except in cases of qualifying medical disqualification, circumstances expressly addressed in these Terms, or where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.

Medical Disqualification

If Clarity’s medical director or the client’s primary care physician determines that the client is no longer an appropriate candidate for treatment, the client may qualify for a refund of the unused monetary value of their purchased package.

Medical disqualification may require appropriate documentation from a qualified healthcare professional.

Approved medical refunds are subject to a $150 administrative fee, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Refunds will be calculated according to the applicable package valuation method described below.

Unlimited Treatment Package Valuation

For refund and accounting purposes, Unlimited Treatment Packages are valued based on six (6) treatments, regardless of the total number of treatments ultimately required or received.

Each completed treatment is assigned a monetary value equal to one-sixth (1/6) of the original package purchase price, after applicable discounts.

The remaining unused monetary value is calculated by subtracting the assigned value of completed treatments from the original amount paid.

Once six (6) treatments have been completed, the Unlimited Treatment Package is considered fully utilized for refund valuation purposes and has no remaining refundable monetary value under this calculation.

Additional treatments beyond the sixth session do not create additional monetary value or increase the refundable balance.

Clients who remain eligible may continue receiving treatments beyond six sessions under their Unlimited Treatment Package while Clarity continues providing the applicable services, subject to these Terms.

Example: For an Unlimited Treatment Package purchased for $1,200, each of the first six treatments is assigned a value of $200. After four completed treatments, the remaining unused monetary value is $400. After six or more completed treatments, the remaining unused monetary value is $0.

This valuation method does not eliminate any refund rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

Three-Treatment Packages

For an approved refund involving a prepaid three-treatment package, the remaining unused monetary value will be calculated based on the original package purchase price, applicable discounts, and treatments already completed.

Unless a different calculation was expressly disclosed and agreed upon at purchase, the package purchase price will be allocated equally across the three included treatments for refund valuation purposes.

Once all three treatments have been completed, the package has no remaining unused monetary value.

Individual Treatments

Completed individual treatments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Refund eligibility for individual treatments purchased but not yet performed will be determined according to the circumstances of the request and applicable law.

Refund Processing

  • Cash Payments: Approved refunds are issued by check.
  • Credit and Debit Card Payments: Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when supported by the payment processor. Refunds that cannot be processed to the original payment method may be issued by check.
  • Cherry Financing and Affirm Payments: Refunds are subject to the applicable financing provider’s procedures, agreements, and legal requirements. Refunds or adjustments may be applied to an outstanding financing balance rather than paid directly to the client.

Refunds arising from permanent business closure are addressed separately in Section 3 and are not automatically subject to the medical-disqualification administrative fee.

3. Service Continuity & Business Closure

Clarity Tattoo Removal intends to honor purchased treatment packages and provide services in accordance with these Terms.

However, circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, public health emergencies, equipment failures, facility closures, financial hardship, or other unforeseen events, may temporarily or permanently interrupt our ability to provide services.

Temporary Service Interruptions

In the event of a temporary interruption, Clarity may reschedule appointments, extend applicable package periods, or offer alternative arrangements when reasonably available.

Temporary interruptions do not automatically entitle clients to refunds, except as otherwise required by applicable law.

Permanent Business Closure

If Clarity permanently ceases operations and is unable to fulfill outstanding treatment packages, the remaining unused monetary value of each package will be calculated according to the applicable valuation provisions in Section 2, subject to applicable law.

For Unlimited Treatment Packages, the original purchase price is allocated across six (6) treatments for refund valuation purposes.

Once a client has completed six (6) treatments under an Unlimited Treatment Package, the package has no remaining refundable monetary value under this calculation, even if additional treatments might otherwise have been available.

For clients who have completed fewer than six treatments, the remaining unused monetary value will be calculated by deducting the assigned value of completed treatments from the original package purchase price.

For prepaid three-treatment packages, the remaining unused monetary value will be determined according to the valuation method described in Section 2.

Any refund obligations, credits, claims, or other remedies arising from permanent closure, insolvency, or bankruptcy remain subject to applicable consumer protection laws, bankruptcy proceedings, and other legal requirements.

Nothing in this section is intended to eliminate rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

4. Quote Validity & Pricing

All quotes, whether provided virtually or during an in-person consultation, are valid for thirty (30) days from the date issued unless otherwise specified in writing.

Quotes are based on the information, tattoo measurements, treatment recommendations, and pricing available at the time they are prepared.

After thirty days, quoted pricing may no longer be valid and may be subject to adjustment based on current base rates, updated tattoo measurements, treatment recommendations, and available promotions.

Promotional discounts are subject to their advertised terms and expiration dates.

Promotional offers must be purchased before their stated expiration dates to qualify for the advertised discount, even if an associated quote would otherwise remain valid beyond that date.

Discounts and promotional offers cannot be combined unless expressly authorized by Clarity.

Clarity reserves the right to correct pricing errors before a purchase is completed.

5. Photographs & Treatment Documentation

Clarity may take photographs of tattoos and treatment areas for consultation, treatment documentation, and progress tracking.

These photographs help us evaluate treatment progress, maintain accurate records, and provide appropriate services.

Photographs submitted through online quote forms may be retained in our customer relationship management system, Zoho Bigin, as part of the prospective client’s inquiry record.

Submitted photographs may remain associated with the client’s profile for quote preparation, follow-up communications, and business recordkeeping. They are not automatically deleted after a fixed 90-day period.

Photographs collected for treatment documentation are separate from photographs authorized for promotional use.

With separate authorization, photographs may be used for advertising, social media, website content, educational materials, or other promotional purposes.

Clients may decline promotional photograph use through the applicable consent or intake form.

For additional information about photograph retention, privacy rights, and information handling, please review our Privacy Policy.

6. Appointments, Cancellations & No-Shows

Clarity asks that clients provide reasonable advance notice when they are unable to attend a scheduled appointment.

Frequent no-shows, repeated rescheduling, or last-minute cancellations may result in a $50 fee and/or refusal of future service.

Clients who fail to attend two (2) or more scheduled appointments without notice, or who reschedule the same appointment three (3) or more times without completing it, may be required to prepay in full for future appointments.

Clarity may also decline future bookings for clients who repeatedly fail to attend or reschedule appointments.

We reserve the right to cancel scheduled appointments for clients who meet these criteria, with notice provided to the client.

Appointment availability is subject to staffing, scheduling, equipment availability, and treatment suitability.

7. Treatment Results & Client Responsibilities

Laser tattoo removal results vary based on numerous factors, including tattoo characteristics, ink composition, tattoo depth, skin type, treatment history, and individual healing response.

No guarantee is made regarding the number of treatments required, the degree of fading achieved, or the final appearance of the treated area.

Some tattoos may not be completely removable, and certain pigments or skin characteristics may present additional treatment considerations.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding relevant medical history, medications, skin conditions, and other factors that may affect treatment suitability.

Clients are expected to follow the treatment schedule and aftercare instructions recommended by their laser technician.

Clarity reserves the right to postpone, modify, or decline treatment when necessary for client safety or professional judgment.

Payments are for treatment services provided and do not constitute a guarantee of specific results.

8. Privacy & Personal Information

Clarity handles personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We use third-party service providers for appointment management, customer communications, payment processing, website analytics, advertising measurement, and other business operations.

Information may be disclosed to these providers as described in our Privacy Policy and as permitted by applicable law.

We do not sell client treatment records or treatment photographs.

For information about website cookies and tracking technologies, please review our Cookie Policy.

9. Communications

Clarity may contact clients and prospective clients regarding appointment reminders, scheduling, treatment information, follow-up communications, pricing estimates, and important service-related updates.

Communications may be delivered by email, telephone, or text message using our primary business number or authorized office telephone numbers.

Promotional communications may be sent where permitted by applicable law and with any required consent.

Clients may opt out of promotional communications by following applicable unsubscribe instructions or contacting Clarity directly.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing services.

Additional information about communications and mobile messaging privacy is available in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes arising from these Terms or services provided by Clarity will be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.

11. Updates to Terms

Clarity may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in business operations, services, policies, or legal requirements.

The most current version will be published on our website with an updated effective date.

Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise agreed or permitted by applicable law.

Material changes affecting existing purchased packages will not automatically replace the terms applicable at the time of purchase where doing so would violate applicable law or existing contractual obligations.
