Microblading is different.
Microblading and eyebrow PMU pigments are not the same as body tattoo ink. They can contain a mix of organic and inorganic compounds, and they may shift in tone as they fade.

How brow removal works.
The Candela PicoWay breaks pigment into tiny particles that your body clears over time. Removal is typically done in a series of carefully planned sessions.

We target the pigment. Many clients notice visible changes after 1 to 2 sessions.
Fade
Your body clears it. We space sessions to support healing and clearance.
Common microblading pigment behavior
Dark tones may lift first, sometimes revealing warmer tones (reds or oranges) underneath. This is normal with cosmetic pigments and is typically addressed with additional sessions based on your response.
Your goal sets the plan.
- Full removal. Reduce pigment as much as possible over multiple sessions.
- Cleanup. Refine shape, lighten uneven tails, or remove unwanted strokes.
- Fading for correction. Lighten brows so an artist can safely redesign or correct.
- Old PMU refresh. Remove migrated or ashy pigment for a cleaner look.

Is microblading removal safe?
When performed with appropriate settings and technique, laser microblading removal can be a safe option. Because this is a delicate area, we use a controlled, conservative plan and provide aftercare guidance to support healing.
Does microblading removal hurt?
Sensation varies, but most clients describe quick snaps. We use strong cooling support and a thoughtful pace to keep treatments manageable.
How many sessions does it take?
Many clients see noticeable fading after 1 to 2 sessions. Total sessions depend on pigment, depth, touch-up history, and skin response. We outline realistic expectations during your consultation.
Will it damage my eyebrow hair?
Our approach is brow hair conscious and designed to be conservative for this area. Individual response varies, which is why we tailor settings and aftercare recommendations.
Why do brows sometimes turn red or orange?
