Who Qualifies?
- Cancer Survivors — Individuals looking to remove radiation marker tattoos used during cancer treatment.
- Former Gang Members — Those who have left gang life behind and seek removal of gang-related tattoos.
- Individuals with Hate/Racist/Anti-Social Tattoos — Anyone wishing to erase symbols of hate and embrace a message of unity and personal growth.
- Formerly Incarcerated Individuals — People reentering the workforce who want to remove tattoos that may hinder employment opportunities.
- Victims/Survivors of Sex Trafficking — Survivors seeking removal of tattoos used as marks of exploitation or control and publicly recognizable as such.
How We Determine Eligibility
Path to Clarity is designed to support individuals seeking removal of tattoos that are widely recognized by the public as symbols of gang involvement, hate, trafficking, incarceration, or exploitation — particularly when those markings create ongoing safety, employment, or reintegration barriers.
Some tattoos may hold deep personal or emotional trauma without being publicly identifiable. While these may not qualify for full sponsorship, we’ll always do our best to offer compassionate alternatives and reduced options when possible.
How It Works
- Application — Complete a short application to determine eligibility.
- Consultation — Eligible applicants receive a free consultation to discuss the tattoo, goals, and treatment plan.
- Treatment Sessions — Approved participants may receive complimentary treatments. Number of sessions varies based on size, color, and location.
